Swartland Winery is situated about 70km north of Cape Town and 3km outside the town of Malmesbury on the road to Paarl.
In the heart of the Swartland the winery harvests its grapes from wine farms spread out on the hills around Malmesbury.
The vineyards benefit from the constant cool breezes that blow off the Atlantic Ocean, effectively sustaining the many microclimates, while the proximity to mountain ranges adds its own dimension to the physical character of the grape berry.
Over the past 70 years the winery has changed from a cooperative cellar into a private wine company with three business units that offer our clients an all-in-one wine experience.

Did you know that you can taste our entire portfolio of wines at our Tasting Room? Visit us and discover your favourites – from our everyday Contours Collection and premium Winemakers Collection ranges to our premium Bush Vines and sought after Limited Release ranges. You can also sample our sparkling wines and winter-warmer Cape Ruby, Hanepoot and red and white Jerepigo.
Our friendly Tasting Room team look forward to welcoming you! Don’t forget to ask about joining our new #SWClub, with great discounts on purchases at our cellar door or simply indulge in our famous cheese and meat platters. (Other snacks available too!) Families are also welcome – we have a jungle gym and grape juice & flavoured milkshakes for the kiddies.

CHEESE PLATTERS & NIBBLES
We’re rather famous for our cheese platters, piled generously with local cheeses, biltong, charcuterie (optional), figs, olives, ciabatta & crackers!
In addition we also serve a variety of sandwiches and wraps, tea & coffee.
For parties greater than 6 please book in advance.
