We’ve restored these old houses for you to refresh and revive your soul, surrounded by the beauty and sounds of nature….. Mountain bikes are welcome. Dassenheuwel is the ideal spot for bird lovers – we have over 130 species in our area!

The Farm Stay Self-Catering house and cottages are situated 18km from Malmesbury on the R45 towards Paarl (note: 12km’s out of Malmesbury, then a short gravel road of 6,5km). It is only 20–30 minutes’ drive from the beautiful Riebeek Valley, Malmesbury, Wellington and Paarl. We are also 45–60 minutes’ drive from Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Cape Town. Visit all the wine farms, Olive boutiques, a wedding or a festival in the valley, or just relax on the farm, a real hide away from all the hustle and bustle…

The Farm Stay Self Catering House can accommodate 5 people, and the 2 cottages, Flower and Windmill, each 1 couple. The Farm Stay is the only house suitable for families (with young children).

The new Wheat Cabin is a special treat for couples, where you can kick back and relax in this calm, stylish cabin far away from everything. Situated on the edge of the farm, on the slopes of the Porceleinberg. It operates completely off the grid. On the porch/ deck, you’ll have a 180º view of the valley towards the Hawekwa mountains. Equipped with a wood fired hot tub, you’ll enjoy endless sunsets.
